IT Project Manager (SAP FICO)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a SAP FICO Project manager to join a large multi-national organisation who are in the process of implementing SAP. Reporting to the IT Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all assigned SAP FI/CO and generic Finance specific projects, activities and resources across EMEA in line with the agreed regional IT priorities and objectives. Projects will range from SAP specific projects to pure finance projects eg. changing banks. You will work collaboratively with the EMEA business teams as required to realise the full benefits of the investments and for identifying opportunities for IT to further add value to the organisation. A large proportion of the work will involve multiple concurrent priorities and multiple stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will be to: Develop, plan and manage SAP FI/CO Projects and generic Finance projects within EMEA ensuring that they are in line with the overall IT strategy and complimentary to the work being undertaken by the global business teams; Manage project resources and development teams as necessary to ensure that resultant systems/services deliver the specified objectives, within budget and timescale; Undertake responsibility for understanding existing and potential systems opportunities in order to provide advice and guidance as required; Manage assigned project budgets to achieve financial targets and best value for the organisation and establish and maintain a highly effective relationship with senior business managers across the business. The right candidate for this role will have a track record of successful project or programme management, Experience of managing SAP and Generic Finance Projects a·Functional knowledge of Finance Processes and Excellent analytical and influencing skills with the ability to thrive in a challenging environment and develop new skills.
